XorChat community rules

Last revised: October 1, 2026.

These service-specific safety instructions accompany the XORVANIQ Acceptable Use Policy.

Respect other members

Do not use XorChat for threats, harassment, impersonation, scams, unwanted sexual content or exposing another person's private information. Respect a person's decision to stop contact; do not create alternate accounts to evade a block.

Protect accounts and systems

Do not share stolen credentials, malicious links or instructions aimed at compromising another member's account. Do not evade access restrictions or moderation controls. Send security reports privately to abuse@xorvaniq.ca.

Reporting and blocking

Report the relevant message using its report control and provide concise factual context. Use blocking to restrict unwanted contact. Reports go to moderation; a report confirmation does not mean a moderation decision has already been made. Keep relevant evidence safely and avoid reposting harmful material.

Illegal, exploitative and abusive content

Do not use XorChat to facilitate illegal activity, credible threats, sexual exploitation, trafficking, or the creation, solicitation, storage, or distribution of child sexual abuse material. Do not share non-consensual intimate imagery or sexually explicit material involving anyone under the age required by law. Reports involving immediate danger may be escalated as appropriate.

Spam, scams and harmful software

Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive promotions, phishing links, credential-harvesting pages, malware, ransomware, or files or links intended to compromise another person or system. Do not use XorChat to organize fraud, payment scams, account takeovers, or deceptive impersonation.

Privacy, scraping and automation

Do not collect, scrape, enumerate, sell, publish, or correlate member information without authorization. Do not attempt to discover private contact information, bypass blocking, track a person across accounts, or expose personal information to encourage harassment. Automated access must not evade rate limits, authentication, or other safeguards.

Security testing and service integrity

Do not probe, exploit, disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, APIs, encryption material, infrastructure, or other members' devices. Authorized security research must stay within the scope expressly approved by XORVANIQ. Do not interfere with service availability, monitoring, moderation, or abuse-prevention controls.

Intellectual property and deceptive identity

Do not knowingly distribute material you lack the right to share, impersonate another person or organization, or use misleading identity information to deceive members. Reports about intellectual-property misuse should include enough information to identify the content and the rights involved.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and available evidence, XORVANIQ may warn, rate-limit, restrict features, remove accessible content, suspend or close accounts, preserve relevant records, or take other proportionate steps to protect users and infrastructure. A report is not itself a finding; reports may be reviewed for context and abuse of the reporting system is prohibited.

Urgent safety

XorChat is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services if someone faces immediate danger. Review privacy, retention and moderation information for how safety records are handled.
