XorChat service terms
Last revised: October 1, 2026.
This page explains the existing XorChat service scope alongside the XORVANIQ Terms, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
Your account
Use your own account and an email address you can verify. Follow the eligibility and policy confirmations shown during registration. Keep credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Service scope
XorChat provides browser-based messaging and the features available in the application. New private text, GIF and voice messages sent through Encrypted Conversations are end-to-end encrypted between verified devices; legacy history from before cutover remains server-readable and encrypted at rest. Profiles, presence, games, call records and other service metadata are not covered by the message-E2EE claim. General file attachments are not available. Native desktop and Android applications are beta and do not inherit web E2EE unless explicitly stated; iOS is at simulator-beta stage. Availability and features differ by platform. Product descriptions do not promise that planned features are available.
Safety and availability
Use reporting and blocking tools for unwanted contact and content. Do not rely on the service for emergencies. Connectivity, browser permissions and other members' settings affect calls and notifications. No delivery or response is established merely by seeing a local message or notification.
Paid features and account closure
Review the displayed plan and checkout details before any purchase. Account deletion does not itself cancel a separate subscription. Contact billing@xorvaniq.ca for plan or cancellation help. The application's export and deletion controls are explained in Help and the privacy and retention information.
Eligibility and account authority
Public XorChat registration is intended for people age 16 or older. You must provide accurate account information, use an email address you can verify, and have authority to accept these terms for the account you create. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade a suspension, block, or safety restriction.
Encrypted conversations and security boundaries
New private text, GIF, and supported voice messages sent through Encrypted Conversations are end-to-end encrypted between verified devices. Legacy history from before the encryption cutover remains server-readable and encrypted at rest. Profiles, presence, games, call records, moderation records, billing records, delivery/routing information, and other service metadata are not covered by the private-message E2EE claim. See the Security page for the current technical scope.
Your content and account activity
You remain responsible for content and activity associated with your account. XorChat may process, transmit, store, or display information as reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose, enforce safety controls, respond to support requests, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. For Encrypted Conversations, message content is processed and stored as ciphertext by the service except where a participant chooses to disclose content outside the encrypted conversation.
Prohibited use and moderation
Do not use XorChat for illegal activity, threats, harassment, scams, phishing, malware, unauthorized access, credential theft, non-consensual intimate content, exploitation of minors, privacy abuse, spam, or attempts to defeat service safeguards. The XorChat community rules and company Acceptable Use Policy apply. We may restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve relevant safety records, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules or protect users and infrastructure.
Third-party services and communications
Some functionality depends on third-party infrastructure or processors, including network, email, DNS, payment, and browser/platform services. Those providers may process information needed to deliver their part of the service under their own terms and privacy practices. A link, integration, or provider dependency does not mean XorChat controls that third party.
Service changes, interruption and beta features
Features, limits, integrations, and beta applications may change as the service develops. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, browser restrictions, network conditions, or abuse controls can interrupt availability. Beta features may be incomplete or change without the stability expected of a generally available feature. Do not use XorChat as the only storage location for information you need to preserve.
Suspension, deletion and subscriptions
You may use available account controls to export or delete eligible account information. Safety, fraud-prevention, billing, backup, or legally required records may remain for the periods described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a XorChat account does not automatically cancel a separately billed subscription; contact billing support or use an available billing-management flow to cancel recurring service.
Disclaimers and emergency use
XorChat is a communications service, not an emergency service, professional monitoring service, or guaranteed delivery system. Do not rely on a message, call, notification, or presence indicator as proof that another person received or acted on a communication. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
